Challenges while pursuing degree: Overcoming procrastination and pursuing determination and commitment to reach the goal of achieving her EdD in Organizational Leadership. Procrastination is the enemy of achieving any goal, thus Dr. Scott had to drop every excuse why not to complete her degree by refocusing on the objective ahead; obtaining her EdD. Refocusing caused her to look at what was causing the procrastination; fear, doubt, “busyness” and any other invalid excuse. She had to commit to discipline herself to set boundaries, deadlines and determination to meet the same; which she successfully did on October 10th, 2015.
